How you can prepare for installation

Range Cookers are big and heavy appliances so you will need to ensure there is clear and safe access to your room of choice, if you have any concerns please contact the showroom who will be happy to advise.

Check the electrics are correct for the type of range cooker you have chosen, these vary for different models so check the product specification or give us a call in the showroom.

Make sure your room of choice is ready to receive your new appliance and ensure there is adequate space for our delivery guys to work in safely.

What is not included in our installation service

  • We won't make any alterations to your property to accommodate your new appliance, if the appliance doesn't fit we will advise what needs to be done for us to be able to complete the installation.
  • We can't carry out any electrical work if they are not correct for installation, if this happens we will advise what work needs doing before we can complete the installation.
  • If you are having a gas or dual fuel range cooker and the gas check highlights any issues you will need to get a gas safe engineer to carry out the work prior to installation.
  • Even though we offer delivery to room of choice our delivery team have the final say on whether the delivery is safe to carry out or not, due to the size and weight of these appliances, if there are any issues we will work with you to ensure the installation can be carried out.

What size are range cookers?

Height and depth are standard and they come in various widths - 90cm | 100cm | 110cm | 120cm | 150cm

How do I know what electrical supply my new range cooker is?

The electrical supply will be either 32amp or 45amp depending on make and model. Check the product specification on the product page or give us a call in the showroom if you are unsure.

How do I know if my current gas installation is up to code?

To avoid any issues on the day of installation we carry out a free gas check prior to installation. If there are any issues found we will advise you so you can get a gas safe engineer to rectify them ahead of time.

Will you deliver up stairs?

Absolutely we can, our delivery service doesn't end at the front door. However due to the size and weight of these appliances our delivery team will have final say on whether the delivery is safe or not.

What if access is limited and internal doors need removing?

Our delivery team need clear and easy access to deliver your appliance safely, if there are doors preventing this these will need to removed prior to delivery please.

Do you deliver to room of choice?

Absolutely we can ! Just let our delivery team know when they arrive.

What happens if the range cooker not fit?

We will return the appliance to our warehouse and someone from the showroom will be in contact to help find an alternative model.

How soon can I get my appliance?

We can deliver electric range cookers 5 days a week and dual fuel and all gas range cookers are installed on a Tuesday only at present. However if we are just dropping it off then delivery is available 5 days a week.

Can you disconnect a gas cooker and install an electric range cooker?

Yes we can, you will the gas capping off and you will need to ensure the electrical supply is correct. This can be discussed and arranged at point of sale.
